Be Ready is back in training, with the French 2000 Guineas nominated as a possible target.

The colt was a huge disappointment in the Craven Stakes, but it was subsequently discovered he was suffering from a fibrillating heart, a condition similar to that which kept Sprinter Sacre on the sidelines.

However, Be Ready is already back in work and came through a gallop on Tuesday unscathed.

"Be Ready worked nicely this morning and looked well," said trainer Saeed bin Suroor.

"We will give him another piece of work in the coming days and, depending on how that goes, we may aim him at the French 2000 Guineas (the Poule d'Essai des Poulains) at Longchamp on May 11."

Bin Suroor's Derby hope True Story, an impressive winner of the Feilden Stakes on his reappearance, is on course for the Betfred Dante Stakes at York on May 15.

"True Story worked very well on Monday and I am really happy with him," Bin Suroor told www.godolphin.com.

"He has come out of his win at Newmarket in good form and it is likely that we will take him to York for the Dante Stakes."
