Saturday's stunning Weatherbys Super Sprint winner Tiggy Wiggy could swerve next month's Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York and instead wait until October to take on her elders in the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp.

Having filled the runner-up spot behind Irish raider Anthem Alexander in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, Richard Hannon's juvenile filly blitzed her Newbury rivals with an awesome display of speed in the hands of Richard Hughes.

Connections initially appeared keen to let Tiggy Wiggy tackle some of Europe's top sprinters on the Knavesmire, but are now leaning towards running in the Lowther Stakes at the same meeting before a trip to Paris in the autumn.

Speaking on his website, www.richardhannonracing.co.uk, the trainer said: "It gets better every time I see it and it would be exciting taking on the older horses, but we might wait until the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp on Arc day.

"They tell me that no two-year-old has won that race since Sigy in 1978, but Tiggy Wiggy enjoys a bit of cut in the ground and she would be more likely to get it there than at York.

"That said, we have not ruled out the Ebor meeting, and even if we swerved the Nunthorpe, there is always the Lowther against her own age group."
