Connections confident of success at Haydock Park

High Heeled could be the one to watch at Saturday's bet365 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock, according to the filly's connections. High Heeled had a disappointing day at York in the Musidora, however the Barry Hills-trained filly responded in by running a blinder in the Oaks at Epsom. And although she ultimately finished third to Sariska and Midday, Charlie Hills, the trainer's son and assistant, believes she can building on that encouraging run. "We've been very pleased with the filly since Epsom when she ran so well," said Hills. "Nothing showed up as to why she ran so poorly at York, I just think she had a bad day, she was maybe in season. "There was a short period at Epsom where we thought she was coming to win the race, but she still ran a great race. "On the figures for this race she comes out well ahead but obviously Henry Cecil has a good filly in there (Flame Of Gibraltar) and I know John Gosden thinks an awful lot of his (Take The Hint). "A reproduction of her last run should make her the one to beat, though."
