Golantilla is set to step up in class for the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 27.
Third in the 2013 Champion Bumper, the Tony Martin-trained six-year-old stayed in that sphere last season and was second to Killultagh Vic before finishing down the field on his return to the Cheltenham Festival in March.
Golantilla made a winning debut over obstacles at Thurles last week and owner Barry Connell is expecting big things this season.
"It was nice to see him get his head in front again," said Connell.
"He can only improve for that and he will probably go to Leopardstown now for the Grade One as there's not much else for him between now and Christmas.
"I'd say he'd be an even better chaser as he won a point-to-point.
"We struggled a bit with him last season but he's really turned the corner now."
