Mr Lupton carries a Group 3 penalty for his victory on soft ground at Haydock. He acts in most conditions but some rain would enhance his claims. MUTHMIR, who was just over a length behind him in a Listed contest at York in July, is 5lb better off so must have a realistic chance to turn the tables. He finished a neck behind Judicial in a Sandown Group 3 earlier and has a slight weight pull with the winner and can take care of him. Spring Loaded won a major handicap here in July and deserves another crack in this grade as does A Momentofmadness, who won the Portland at Doncaster last month. Just Glamorous was the 33/1 winner of this last year when arriving in poor form, just as he does today. Intense Romance has won a handicap and a Listed contest on heavy going so connections will be hoping for a deluge.
