Verdict

Swatow Typhoon wasn't entirely convincing when making all on his chasing bow at Newcastle but should have learned plenty from that. But MILBOROUGH beat better opposition at Uttoxeter and also has plenty of scope. He looks the most likely winner as Kris Cross was receiving 12lb when rallying to beat the reluctant Polisky in a handicap at Ascot. Ex-pointer Cherry's Bay may need this.
