In depth

Verdict

Vastly can race off a lower mark on Turf but remains 8lb higher than when scoring at Nottingham back in June. Tonto's Spirit has been well beaten since winning over 1m4f at Musselburgh but Penelope Pitstop has been thereabouts off similar marks in Ireland recently. Remember Rocky, Haymarket and PICTURE PAINTER have all slipped down the weights with preference for the latter. Jim Goldie’s charge began the season on an 8lb higher mark and can finally come good dropping down a couple of grades in first-time headgear.
