Verdict

There are only five runners in this novice chase but it's a very competitive affair. Open Hearted had one run over fences last year, finishing third at Newbury, and there should be plenty more to come this term. But that's also the case with UP AND GO, who didn't stay 2m7f on his reappearance at Haydock. He'll probably get his own way out in front here, but can make all over the shorter trip. Lord Of House doesn't look a natural chaser while Ahyaknowyerself may need today's experience. Festive Affair has won between the flags but over further and is facing a tough task in this grade after a lay-off.
