In depth

Verdict

PEDDLERS CROSS has a bit more on his plate than when beating two rivals over C&D on his chasing bow but Donald McCain's exciting novice, second in this year's Champion Hurdle, should be up to the task. Minella Class is the most interesting among the opposition having won a Grade 1 hurdle at Sandown in January. He should win races this winter whatever his fate today. Brother Bob looked like a chaser in the making last term but, after a third at Sedgefield, was pulled up at Haydock next time and fell back over timber at Cheltenham. He's one to be wary of now.
