In depth

Verdict

Henry Cecil fields an interesting newcomer in the shape of Bagan, but runners from his yard have tended to need the run first time out and he may be best watched today. The return to form for runners from the Barry Hills yard increases confidence behind Lakatoi's bid and he fully deserves to get a first win on the boards. The drop back to 12 furlongs should not be a problem and he may well start at a decent price if there is blind admiration for the Cecil-trained colt.
