Limit should come on for her reappearance and gets the nod over Melvino, with Tapa and Tanforan others worthy of a mention. Limit was seeing the racecourse for the first time in five months when finishing fourth over a mile in soft ground at Nottingham recently, and this slightly shorter trip on faster going will help. She had still looked green when opening her account at Wolverhampton on her final start of last year, and there should be more to come. Melvino dwelt before picking up to score at Southwell last time but has more to do in this company, but Tapa had been mixing it with better-class opponents prior to scoring at Folkestone. She took a bump near the finish at the Kent track but would not be put off her stride and despite topweight, she should go close. Tanforan was very unlucky in running at Nottingham behind the selection, and any money for him would be interesting, but we feel that Limit has more to offer and return to her as the answer.
