    Verdict

Starry Sky can make it third time lucky and deny Admiral Sandhoe and Helpmeronda a maiden success. Sir Mark Prescott's filly shaped well in a Kempton maiden that featured some fair sorts and was duly made favourite for her next start at Catterick. A heavily backed newcomer made mincemeat of her on that occasion but there's nothing hiding in the woodwork here and she sets the benchmark. Saharan Royal is progressing and is considered but Admiral Sandhoe may emerge as a bigger threat if he improves on his run in a Lingfield maiden where Red Reef, Perfect Shot and Kersivay were amongst the also-rans. Perfect Shot had promised more on debut and isn't dismissed whilst Helpmeronda also enters calculations despite weakening a shade tamely last time as that was a far stronger race than this. An interesting little heat to get us underway with Starry Sky taken to make the best of her way home.
