In depth

Verdict

MISE EN ROSE competed in pattern company for the remainder of last year having won a handicap at Newmarket in July. She had made a winning reappearance on this track earlier and the Godolphin filly is preferred to a similar type in Buying Trouble. The latter notched-up a string of placed efforts in Listed races last summer but has not raced since August while Ashadihan faces a tougher task penalised 5lb for winning a Group 3 at Lingfield last year. Bahaarah has a bit to find on these terms and Volunteer Point makes more appeal if rediscovering her best form.
