Verdict

QUARTZ DE THAIX steps up in grade after back-to-back wins at Bangor and Haydock but appears on the upgrade and a hat-trick is a distinct possibility here as he is getting almost a stone from course specialist Midnight Chase, who has the beating of the disappointing Planet of Sound on their run together in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby. Saint Are was an early faller in the Hennessy and his jumping will again be put under pressure around here while Master Overseer was pulled up on his reappearance at Haydock and, though certain to strip fitter now, is one of three carrying more than their allotted weight. Bradley is 5lb higher than when a close second here last month but Irish raider Becauseicouldntsee has claims if building on his third at Thurles.
