Milligan (FR) Second to a very good horse on his seasonal reappearance but looks likely to struggle at the weights.
Rooster Booster Having his first run on decent ground, has creeped up in the weights without winning (has only won a maiden hurdle); others preferred on his seasonal debut.
The French Furze (IRE) Has got ability with a top rating of 149 on the flat. Makes his debut for new trainer, cannot be dismissed.
Simply Gifted Ran surprisingly well on his return to hurdles at Wetherby. Has not won over hurdles since 1999, but would not be a surprise if he runs well today
Westender (FR) Unbeaten in his last three hurdle starts including C&D win last time, has more to do today but should be up to the task.
Impek (FR) Narrowly beaten on his seasonal reappearance, showed improvement from last season and not without a chance.
Reiziger (FR) Well beaten by Milligan last time, better in the weights and has won here; cannot be readily dismissed.
Whistling Dixie (IRE) Won a good race at Downpatrick in soft ground. Amazingly consistent performer over hurdles and on the flat; one for the short list.
Kapok (FR) Well beaten on his last start; best watched today.
Fatehalkhair (IRE) A sedgefield course specialist, won there last time; will find this tougher.
Batswing Has been running on the flat without much success. Has won two hurdles but needs to improve to win this.
Ferrers 11L behind Zurs C&D last time, runs well here; place chances.
Blue (IRE) A winner over this trip on GF last time, looks to be consistent and progressive; market best watched.
