      Verdict

Taste The Wine won on the Flat here in June and his latest third at Uttoxeter suggests he shouldn't be far away in a race like this, despite conceding weight all round. Peak Storm has won four times on the Flat this year but struggles to stay this far and Sadma has been disappointing. Oscar Jane was third to a subsequent winner in a seller at Newton Abbot 12 days ago but that was the first time she'd managed a place while blinkers and a big drop in trip would have to bring about massive improvement for Laughingalltheway to figure. PERCYS CHOICE has his first run for Matt Shepherd but was placed at Kilbeggan and Down Royal in the spring and a repeat of that form would probably suffice.
