Verdict

PIGEON CREEK was making his debut over fences when falling at the last at Thurles in February. He had every chance at the time against better opposition than this and can make amends. Dont Back Down eventually finished fourth but would have been well beaten by the selection and runner-up Leading The Life would also have finished behind so the main threat may emerge from Drawn N Drank. A winning point-to-pointer and hurdler, he was sent to Cheltenham for the National Hunt Chase but jumped poorly and was eventually pulled up.
