In depth

Verdict

BRENDAN BRACKEN is a genuine Group horse who is rarely beaten far at a higher level than this and he landed a Group 3 at the Curragh in September. He's bounced back to form after two poor runs at Meydan and can return to winning ways. Michaelmas had only three opponents to beat at Naas and owed much to an enterprising ride from Ana O'Brien to land the spoils. There could be more to come though he's disappointed on a few occasions. After completing a hat-trick in a Group 3 at the Curragh, Flying Jib was sent to Belmont Park from a Grade 1 fillies' event and ran well for a long way over the 1m2f trip so she has to be respected on her return to a mile. Witches Brew has more to offer but takes a big step-up in class but Dandy Boy could be suited by a return to this trip after racing mainly in sprints.
