Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won six of the last 10 and has two engaged here. Inca Gold is a brother to a winning hurdler so is likely to need further but TAJ MAHAL is bred in the purple. A full brother to Gleneagles - who won this in 2014 - Marvellous, and Coolmore, he has a lot to live up to but an entry in the National Stakes suggests he's well regarded and he can make a successful debut. Moritzburg came up against the useful Psychedelic Funk on his debut and ran well in a Listed contest won by Peace Envoy at Naas so he'll ensure the selection has a race while Noivado made good progress in the latter stages at Leopardstown, along with Arcala, and will have learnt plenty. Sebastian Bach has performed with credit over the minimum while Cascavelle's dam has produced winners with her first three foals.
