In depth

Verdict

WINTER ESCAPE (NAP) ran green but only had to be pushed out to make a winning racecourse debut over course and distance in December. Though the second has been beaten since, Alan King's charge is held in high regard and has an entry in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' so defeat today would be a surprise. The mare Bantam has a double penalty to contend with, as well as a three-month break, and is hard to predict. Peter The Mayo Man hasn't been seen since landing a Fairyhouse bumper in April of last year for Sabrina Harty but there are each-way possibilities about French import Celtic Tune.
