Verdict

DANCE AND DANCE can be forgiven a below par effort at York in a three-runner affair with the soft ground against him. He'd found only Side Glance too good in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom before that and looks the one to beat under today's advantageous terms. St Moritz is next best on official ratings but is a frustrating sort and finished well behind the selection at Epsom while Bridgefield is another whose obvious ability is marred by inconsistency. The progressive Madam Macie looks a bigger threat after sluicing up by eight lengths at Hamilton last time but Self Employed and Sos Brillante look outclassed in this company.
