Verdict

LIKE THE DA has suddenly found his form and very nearly completed a double at Ballinrobe last week where he was only collared close home over that 2m4f trip. He had earlier scored over today's distance at Gowran and should get back on the winning trail under Paul Carberry. Five Two has been in very good form on the Flat and reverts to hurdling on what looks a lenient mark. He can prove a threat from the foot of the handicap while Watermelon, who has been chasing, is a fast-ground specialist and though he hasn't won for a long time he's no forlorn hope in conditions he will relish.
