Verdict

Moonlone Lane won this last year and Witness Of Fashion in 2015. The former is just 2lb higher and Adam Short's claim is a bonus so it would be no shock to see a revival while the latter pops up when least expected as he did when beating the in-form Poormans Hill at Fairyhouse last month. Dual point-to-point winner Slemish is gradually getting the hang of regulation fences though has a big weight to carry while Dorkas is 13lb higher than her last victory and her fine recent effort came over hurdles. The Informer has also been running over timber so a chance is taken with HONEST ROBBER. A winner over 3m here in January, he was having his first subsequent start and racing for new connections over hurdles at Navan earlier this month and that should have blown the cobwebs away. Rare Legend is another to consider in what looks an open handicap.
