In depth

Verdict

Fatcatinthehat has shown real promise in both starts to date over a mile and looks certain to go well but whether he'll be suited by the shorter trip on Polytrack is another matter. Rogue Element ran on strongly over 6f here on his debut and did nothing wrong when beaten a length by Captain Cullen at last week's meeting. That looked a strong maiden and he will take some beating but the Ballydoyle newcomer PACIFIC HEIGHTS gets the vote as he is a half-brother to six winners, including several on the all-weather and a Grade 1 winner in the USA. Stablemate Noah Webster showed nothing on his debut and will need further next season.
