Verdict

Thecornishcockney and Nadema Rose have much to find on official figures and are readily dismissed. The two older horses are not the most consistent either, although Ottoman Empire's last good run came over C&D when runner-up to the useful Gatewood. Invisible Man was a disappointing third at York last month but Saeed Bin Suroor has trained the winner of both previous renewals so better is expected today. CAMERON HIGHLAND makes most appeal, however, after a creditable second to the higher rated Michelangelo in the Tattersalls Millions at Newmarket in June. Roger Varian's three-year-old looks the one to beat with scope for further improvement.
