Verdict

Assassino won this last year but had earlier finished a long way adrift of ELEAZAR over C&D and, despite 4lb better terms, it's difficult to see the 10-year-old reversing places today with Lucy Wadham's gelding, who has his sights lowered after competing at Cheltenham and Aintree. Silver Adonis was just behind the selection over the Grand National fences having won earlier here over a slightly shorter trip and can chase him home again.
