OXWICH BAY (NAP) is a half-brother to the stable’s useful staying chaser Pobbles Bay so stamina shouldn’t be an issue on his first try beyond 2m1f. He looks a shoe-in for a race like this on recent seconds at Warwick and Cheltenham. Savoy Court only found the 122-rated Monbeg Aquadude too strong over course and distance when last seen in March and should be winning races this season. Aaron Lad was well backed when an early casualty at Towcester having shown fair form in Ireland. He could be another to follow and Fiscal Space was third over track and trip last month. But Carole's Vigilante and Just Your Type are probably best watched after a break.
