Verdict

CAID DU LIN makes a relatively quick reappearance after finishing third in a much better race at Market Rasen last Saturday. Just beaten at Stratford earlier, also in stronger company, Richard Newland’s grey can take advantage of his current lenient rating today. Coeur Tantre disappointed at Newton Abbot last month and Lake Chapala also looks to be in the handicapper’s grip now but the returning Clondaw Bisto and Free One could figure from lower down the weights and Irish import Bright Tomorrow may benefit from a switch back to hurdles. Fixed Rate and One For Billy look best of the rest.
