Verdict

SLIDECHECK (NAP) completed a hat-trick at this level on soft ground in March and is back on the same mark as his last victory after racing in better company. He can get back to winning ways here as though Midnight Folie finished runner-up at Huntingdon she was beaten a long way in an eight-runner race in which five failed to complete. Killabraher Cross has only won at Plumpton and been beaten a distance in his recent runs and Jamrham hasn't run since finishing tailed off at Newton Abbot in March. Micquus is still a maiden after 16 starts but made a reasonable debut over fences at Plumpton so could provide the main threat.
