In depth

Verdict

DIKTALINA should be a tough nut to crack and is selected here ahead of Good Faloue and Manele Bay. Allison Thorpe's mare was well-held in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham where she was over-faced, but she rates the horse to beat on her two wins in January and February on soft ground. This daughter of Diktat should appreciate this easier company and with solid form around tight tracks to her name she is unlikely to be far away. Dot's Delight has plenty to find on official ratings but she handles testing ground and seems to get on well with Peter Toole, Chaser's War makes her hurdling debut and is watched after a break, whilst Good Faloue lost little in defeat at Plumpton last time but she tends to be a bit keen in her races. I'm Henrietta may appreciate a chance to compete against only girls, whilst Manele Bay's fourth to Miss Midnight reads well and she has some excellent bumper form to her name. Not straightforward, but another win awaits Diktalina.
