Verdict

There are few trainers who place their horses better than Tony Martin so the fact that he runs DREAM CHAMPION under a penalty here suggests a hat-trick beckons. A winner over this trip at Ballinrobe last Saturday, he easily followed up at Bellewstown on Thursday and will take some stopping in this mood. Doransfirth has been running well for most of the year and desrved her success at Kilbeggan last week. A 6lb rise won't help but she should be good enough to reach a place at least. Raheenwood has hardly been consistent but there was plenty to like about his victory over Mayday Frontier at Tramore. Silent Jo would have a chance on his excellent second at Punchestown in May and he's had only one run subsequently but the useful chaser First Row will probably need another run as he has started just once in three years.
