In depth

Verdict

Bog War hasn't run since scoring over this trip at Dundalk in January, one of seven career victories, and may not be sharp enough. Dual hurdles winner Mastermind was having his first start since May when third at Limerick but needs testing ground to show his best while All The Mollies has yet to recapture the form she was showing at this time a year ago. A Few Bob Short didn't handle very testing ground last time but his earlier form would put him right in the picture. AA BEE SEE won a Fairyhouse handicap at this time a year ago and was returning from a long break when beaten a neck over 2m at Tramore in August. He'll need a strong gallop to bring out the best in him but should get one here so gets the vote.
