Take Cover has won this twice in recent years but was only fourth a year ago behind the three-year-old Battaash. The winner began this year's campaign by defying a penalty in the Temple Stakes at Haydock before beaten into second by Blue Point in the King's Stand Stakes where he played up before the start and was in a lather. The form of the latter race hasn't really worked out and though he's a long way clear on official ratings a chance is taken here with SIOUX NATION (NAP). Aidan O'Brien has some top sprinters in his yard and this three-year-old is reverting to the minimum after showing excellent pace behind stable companion U S Navy Flag in the July Cup. Another from the younger brigade, Havana Grey, was behind the likely favourite at Haydock but bounced back to form in a Curragh Group 2 and looks certain to go well while Kachy, a close third in the former event, ran well for a long way in the King's Stand.
