Verdict

Tullius won a Group 2 over today’s trip on fast ground last year but the suspicion remains he is at his best over shorter and Mount Logan is preferred today especially if the rains arrive. The latter won a conditions race at Doncaster a fortnight ago with Windshear well beaten in third. Epsom Icon won a Group 3 at Epsom earlier this year but is another with something to prove over today’s trip while Very Dashing will need to take a further step forward to get involved in the finish. SKY HUNTER (NAP) is proving hard to keep right but the six-year-old has won six of his 13 starts so far including Group races. Third to Arab Spring at Kempton earlier in the month on his first outing of the year, Saeed Bin Suroor’s charge may prove good enough in this.
