This looks a tough one to call with several apparently closely matched on the form book. New Providence finished just under a length ahead of Kiyoshi over 6f at York but now has a penalty to carry and has never won over this trip. She was beaten a short-head by Osaila in the Nell Gwyn in the spring and Richard Hannon's filly can confirm that form having defied a big weight in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot last month when Touchline, who was receiving 14lb, was third. FADHAYYIL was fifth in the 1000 Guineas and possibly a bit unlucky when beaten half-a-length by Dutch Connection in the Jersey Stakes on only her second start of the campaign. She's still a little keen but looks the one to beat here if Paul Hanagan can find cover from a wide draw. Drying ground would be a concern for French raider Amy Eria.
