Free To Roam had been in very good form before a moderate effort when fancied at Navan on Sunday but should have done better. Voyageofdiscovery likes testing conditions as he showed at Limerick on Saturday so it's no surprise to see him coming here with a penalty. Count Of Carabass had beaten both the aforementioned pair, and TRUE COMPANION, at Listowel earlier but the latter, who had won over this track and trip previously, didn't enjoy the run of the race and can gain compensation. The three-year-old Olly's Folly is 0-15 while New Identity's only victory came on the all-weather at Ffos Las.
