      Verdict

Nufoos did not seem to stay the seven furlongs in the Chartwell Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield last time and has an obvious chance back to six today; Mark Johnston's filly gets the vote ahead of Andronikos and Distinctly Game. The last mentioned has his first outing since chasing home the useful Cesare Beware in a valuable sales race at Doncaster in September but Kevin Ryan has his string in good form at present so fitness is unlikely to be a problem. Bond City is a speedy individual but struggled to get six furlong son his only previous attempt at the trip and is probably best watched so of more interest may be Henry Cecil's reappearing Camacho, who is less exposed than his rivals after just two career starts. The Michael Jarvis-trained Josh has claims at the weights but his best form is on a softer surface so a bigger threat may Andronikos, who holds the last mentioned on running behind Nota Bene and showed that day that a fast surface holds no fears for him. The ground is a big plus for Nufoos though and Mark Johnston's filly can make the most of the weight that she receives all round.
