      Verdict

Washington Dc finished in front of a host of these when runner-up in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket three weeks ago. He was clear of Goldream, Kachy and Priceless with Alpha Delphini and Cotai Glory well beaten but Aidan O’Brien’s sprinter found TAKE COVER too good in last year’s King George at Goodwood. The latter had also beaten Cotai Glory when scoring here earlier in the season and David Griffiths’ charge gets the nod on his reappearance. Quiet Reflection had a run under her belt before winning the Sandy Lane on this card last year and is also penalised for landing a Group 1 here in September but Waady has a shout if back to his best.
