Verdict

Tom David is by far the most experienced of these amateurs and rode 16 winners last season. He guided A STONES THROW into third place in a better race at Sedgefield two weeks ago and a repeat of that performance should see the partnership in the winner's circle today. Morning Time won on the all-weather at Dundalk last year but couldn't justify favouritism at Perth earlier this month and may need further help from the handicapper. Waldo Winchester's second in a seller over C&D earlier this month was his best effort for a long time and he's probably the pick of the remainder.
