Verdict

WHO'S CROSS made an impressive start for new connections when scoring by eight lengths on his hurdling debut at Ludlow. He has more to do here but has plenty of scope and may be good enough to defy his penalty. Carlton Jack has to be a danger on his second to Bob's World here last month as the winner went on to defy a penalty at Sedgefield while Flat winner Rayvin Black finished second at Wincanton last month and will know more today. Oliver Sherwood's four-year-old is preferred to Kuda Huraa and Bohemian Rhapsody, who were both a little disappointing last time.
