Verdict

Handiwork failed to land a hat-trick at Ascot last month but beat the re-opposing ROYAL SKIES a length at Wetherby before that. The latter was having his first start since September, however, and can take revenge on better terms in this Triumph Hurdle trial. John Ferguson's charge also has the beating of Harristown but may find stablemate Muhtaris harder to beat as he made a winning start over timber at Fontwell in December. Violet Dancer was outclassed in Grade 1 company last time but this is more his level and Baradari is yet another to consider in a competitive affair having opened his account in good style at Newbury last time.
