Verdict

TAKETIMEOUT looked like a future winner when third on his debut and this appears a reasonable opportunity. It's perhaps notable that he ran in a race the yard had previously had success in, perhaps advertising that he's held in some regard, and although he's something to learn in the jumping department the same surely applies to plenty of these. Milgen Bay is a hurdling debutant with a future if he translates the ability he's shown in bumpers and Oliver Sherwood had a double earlier this week, while the Jonjo second-string Roper couldn't be totally ruled out in this company despite perhaps being in need of a sterner test of stamina. Richmond hung under pressure at Newbury and has something to prove while Muldoon's Picnic is another bumper winner who could feature if jumping soundly.
