      Verdict

It looks worth opposing Hit The Switch but deciding what with is far harder and JOIN UP can only nominally be preferred to Red Current. The argument is based on Hit The Switch's ability to translate his fibresand form to this surface as he looks sure to be well-in under his 6lb penalty compared to the future following his romp at Southwell. He won by 8 lengths that day and rates as the likeliest winner on that showing but has been well beaten on both previous visits to Kempton. Red Current has the worst of the draw in one but she does know how to win races and isn't badly weighted on the pick of her efforts. She wasn't beaten too far last time and may be able to give a good account of herself in this company. Join Up has been frustrating to follow having threatened to win races over a variety of trips and he remains without a win to his name. It is, therefore, hard to be confident about his chances but he's well weighted and wasn't beaten far at Wolverhampton last time so Join Up may prove to be a worthy each-way alternative to Hit The Switch.
