tracked leader, led 10th, pushed along approaching 3 out, clear after next, ran on well
led until 10th, soon rallied, driven to challenge 4 out, weakened 2 out
chased leaders, lost touch before 10th, tailed off before 4 out, mistake next, soon pulled up
MASKED MAN is the preference to Polyfast. Alan King has not had the greatest of seasons but despite trading at 10/1 in the betting, this Alhaarth gelding dotted up with the minimum of fuss at Kempton earlier in the month and if in a similar mood, he looks hard to oppose. Polyfast has the services of Tony McCoy. Connections appear unsure at to what his best trip is and punters will have to overlook two fairly ordinary efforts of late. On the positive, the stable did win this race last year. Delgany Run will be the horse for those who follow the maxim of backing the outsider of three. A winner in point-to-points, his previous form in races under rules leaves something to be desired. Masked Man is likely to be a warm order and we seek not to oppose.
