Cnoc Na Sioga hasn't had much racing over the past couple of years and his latest victory was over fences in 2015. He's been unable to take advantage of a much lower hurdles mark, though this is a very moderate handicap. Canova produces the occasional decent run but is 0-29 and though Select Opportunity's fourth place at Wexford was his best run to date he was still beaten a very long way. The Trigger had shown hardly anything over hurdles before a good run at Market Rasen but has made great strides over fences the last twice, scoring at Killarney and Stratford. He's on a 19lb lower mark back over timber so has to be greatly respected. Dual Flat winner ROYAL ROSLEA has had plenty of experience for a five-year-old and has been running quite well in similar grade over the trip. She's on a very lowly mark and may be good enough to gain her first success over timber.
