Verdict

WIQAAYA was set a stiff task on her handicap debut at Sandown and wasn't up to it. However, she was far from disgraced when fifth behind Sinfonico and a line through the latter gives Ed Dunlop's filly the beating of Queen Of Cash. The latter scored on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time, however, and may be improving while Choral may have needed the outing when fourth behind Frognal here recently. Chokurei showed a big improvement when winning on the Polytrack earlier this month though she has yet to run up to the same level on turf, while the unexposed trio of Echo Ridge, Tedsmore Dame and Pandorea are others to note in an open contest.
