Apache Drums looks capable of better and jockey bookings look significant while a long absence shouldn't be too much of a problem for King Of The Refs, who could well be on a very fair mark. Vast Consumption is certain to come in for support after returning from a very long absence to score at Tramore but a 12lb rise won't help nor will a 10lb hike do much for the chances of Ros Brin after she finally got off the mark at Fairyhouse. Mississippi River comfortably beat Golanbrook in a maiden at Fairyhouse and is much better than he showed at Tramore last time but this can go to ALFA BEAT. It's hardly surprising that his trainer reverts him back to hurdling after the assessor raised him 10lb for landing a handicap over fences in September as he can race from an incredible 41lb lower mark over timber.
