    Verdict

Both James Pollard and LADY LAM should prove popular among punters after wins last time and it is to the latter we turn. Sylvester Kirk's filly has been raised 2lb for carrying Richard Hughes to success at Kempton last time, but has also won over that same 10f trip here before. Although on the figures she may need a career best to follow-up, she is unexposed over this longer trip, which a previous Warwick effort over 1m 3f suggests won't be a problem, and she is selected. James Pollard had been a long standing maiden until success in a poor Ffos Las 10f handicap last month, for which he has gone up 7lb. Winning Show is sure to be competitive from 5lb higher than a course and distance success recorded in January, while Squad is weighted to get very competitive but has so far won only at Brighton.
