Verdict

The experienced runners have little to offer here and so it may rest between newcomers, Bobski and Son Altesse and we will give the vote to the first named, Kempsey looks best of the remainder. Geoff Huffer's colt has en excellent American pedigree being by Victory Note out of a Cure The Blues mare and so there is every chance he will act on this surface. Son Altesse is trained by Jon Scargill who does well with his all-weather runners and like the selection is bred to be a dirt specialist. Kempsey is the most consistent of the horses with form and could be the one to take advantage if the newcomers aren't up to much. He put in another solid display last time when just five lengths behind Anfield Dream over course and distance and he will be hard to keep out of the frame today. Paul Cole's Look Of Eagles should improve for her debut effort and may do best of the remainder, but on this occasion we will chance our arm with a debutante and side with Bobski
