Verdict

Steely Dan is given the narrow vote here in another difficult race for punters to call, with Cloud Dancer, Katiypour and Cheese 'n' Biscuits the others to form the shortlist. The selection finished behind Cheese 'n' Biscuits a couple of runs ago over this course and distance but he did not get any luck in running that day and he wasn't beaten far. There is unlikely to be much between our selection and Cheese 'n' Biscuits again here, but at the likely odds we are prepared to take a chance on John Best's 6-year-old. Cloud Dancer is always dangerous in these type of events but he has been a little below-par on his last two runs and he may be best watched again here. Katiypour won well last time out when beating Takes Tutu over this course and distance and as that was his first run after a break he has to be respected again here. Takes Tutu is another with place claims but in a wide open affair we will give the tentative vote to Steely Dan.
